If you're using Greasemonkey 3.0, 4chan X requires popups to be enabled on `boards.4chan.org` in order to open new tabs (for example, when starting a thread). The underlying issue will most likely be fixed in Greasemonkey 3.1.
Greasemonkey 3.0 has a [bug](https://github.com/greasemonkey/greasemonkey/issues/2094) causing 4chan X to open multiple tabs when you open a new tab (for example, when starting a thread). If you're having this problem, you upgrading to [Greasemonkey 3.1](https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/greasemonkey/versions/) (currently in beta) should fix it.
